(AP) — NFL coaches consistently spout the party line that every game is dangerous, no opponent is a pushover, on any given Sunday, etc.
Well, these days it’s hard to deny there are chunks of teams’ 16-game schedule that simply are hellacious.
Some clubs face big obstacles from the start of this season. Others close out the schedule with rough stretches. These are some of the toughest portions of the 2010 season:more

NEW YORK — Ben Roethlisberger’s suspension has been cut from six games to four by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.
The Pittsburgh Steelers’ star quarterback met with Goodell early Friday and was told he could return on Oct. 17 against Cleveland.more
NEW YORK (AP) Washington Nationals outfielder Nyjer Morgan has received an eight-game suspension stemming his part in a brawl during a game against the Florida Marlins.
Major League Baseball handed out punishments Friday to six players, both managers and a coach after reviewing Wednesday night’s game.more
