I’d like to make a bet w/ Kerry Sayers that Shorecrest will win teh H.S. Football title back here in the State of Washington. Furhtermore…to borrow a line from the movie “Mr. Saturday Night”, “They’re not funny on ‘The Today Show’, but they are on ‘The Tonight Show’.”

Oh Kerry, in that 10AM CT Scoreboard Update, you left out that Weather Update which you normally do at the end of those TOH Updates. Don’t ever do that again.

Let’s hope the NFL owners & players can reach an new labor deal in order to save the 2011 season. Furthermore, the next time the Bears face the Seahawks, it otta be on Monday Night Football in which ESPN would show the game locally on WGN, Ch. 9 as well as on their Seattle sister-station KCPQ.

Kerry Sayers, you may have not been Seattle during the ’70s & ’80s but for 20 years, Channel 7 out here use to air the Variety Club Telethon every year between 1969 & ’89(Note that there was no telethon in 1970). It would benefit The Variety Club of the Pacific N.W. as well as Children’s Hospital & Medical Center in Seattle as well as Mary Bridge Children’s Center in Tacoma, Wa. If they were still doing that & you were still with FSN NW, perhaps you, Angie Mentink & Brad Adam would been phone volunteers. They would have local & national entertainers on there. Even Jo Anne Worley was on that one year.

If you were to return to TV one day by joining NBC Sports, would you guest host Saturday Night Live or if you were to join CBS Sports, would you do a Top 10 List on Letterman’s show?(Note: an NBC affiliate in Salt Lake City, which is owned by the Mormon Church doesn’t show SNL, however a UHF station that is an affiliate of the CW Network does.
